Pastor Hunted In Russia Narrowly Escapes Death

Pastor Hunted In Russia Narrowly Escapes Death: Yuri Sipko, one of Russia’s most renowned and well-known evangelical pastors, who was recently compelled to quit his country.

According to Sipko, who is now is on the run “I’m a wanted person. Security service agents are looking for me everywhere in the country. The moment I step foot back in Russia, I will be arrested,”

Sipko’s home in Moscow  was raided by the Russian FSBson charges accusing him of discrediting Russia’s military and their operations in Ukraine.

“According to the Russian government, I’ve been charged with this crime because I said that to fight against Ukrainians is a crime, to kill Ukrainians is a crime, and to destroy Ukrainian cities is a crime,” Sipko said.

Sipko, who is a prominent Russian Baptist pastor was able to escape thanks to a tip-off. He managed to slip away from Russia to a safe location.

The 71-year-old Pastor Sipko however revealed that he doesn’t fear his future and welcomes the opportunity to confront his accusers.

“I have nothing to be afraid of. My life is almost over; praise the Lord, I have just a little bit left,” He said
