Do We Have Pastors Or Motivational Speakers? All over social media, there is this trend where people are accusing pastors (Men of God) of being motivational speakers.
They claimed that pastors are leaving their work and turning to motivational speakers so that they can make money and have more members.
People have bashed so many known pastors online for turning to motivational speakers.
Preaching and teaching the word of God is the main purpose for men of God. Every follower of Christ has been given the same duty by God.
Winning souls for God is so important because there are so many people lost in the world.
The Truth: It is not a bad thing if a pastor is also a motivational speaker. They are to motivate us in a godly way so that we don’t get misinformed by the world.
Their duty is to prepare us for the world by teaching us everything we need to do. Our duty is to apply everything taught to us in church through the Bible in our lives.
- Relationship: If they don’t teach us about relationships, we might end up having a worldly kind of relationship.
- Marriage: If servants of God do not guard us on how to behave when we marry, most of us will ruin our marriage.
- Business: There are a lot of problems that are encountered while running a business. Those problems can be overwhelming, so Men of God teach their members how to trust God.
- Bully: Most people still get bullied in this era, whether in their family or workplace, school, or even at church. This problem has to be tackled, and people are to know how to deal with it.
- Depression: The most common problem in our society is mental issues. So many people are facing psychological problems, and pastors are to teach their members how to handle it.
- Lost: Everyone on earth has lost something precious to them, like loved ones, property, or position. Ignoring people that face these problems will make them get the knowledge from the wrong place.
- Troubled Kids: Many Christian families have troubled kids, and if we are taught how to handle them, we might lose them to the devil.
There are a lot of things that the word of God (the Bible) can teach us, and most of us may not know where to find them. Men of God will know and tell us where in the Bible to find help for our problems.
Is Not A Problem
People are just unhappy, and they will do everything to ruin the image of men of God. When other people teach about relationships and life problems, they call them “Guru.”
Why can’t men of God teach or guide their members on how to deal with life? Are they not appointed by God to walk us through the Bible so that we can do the work of Christ?
Anyone who has issues with men of God or women of God teaching us about Christ and life is a hater. Everything that we need in life or growth is found in the word of God.
Our heavenly father has not left us, and he will not forsake us in this life. God has been using prophets and kings in the past just to guide his children.
He knew that prophets and kings would not bring us close enough, so he sent his son. Jesus Christ came to die for us and to bring us back to the Father (God).
Everything that we are benefiting now is based on the grace, salvation, and mercy Jesus Christ made available by dying for us.
