Do You Know Who You Are?

Do You Know Who You Are? The truth is that most of us face identity issues because we are not aware of ourselves.

According to research, it is confirmed that over 70-80 people do experience identity issues.

As children of God, we have the same problems because we don’t know our father. The word of God (the Bible) has told us multiple times that we are special to God.

Christians have more authority than they think because the power has been given to us.

When Jesus Christ died, his name became the most powerful in the world. At the mention of his name, every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess.

Most of us are still living in fear because we are not exercising our authority as children of God.

The disciples of Christ were able to do great things like heal the sick and cast out demons because he believed.

Paul was able to do awesome things because he accepted Jesus Christ and turned a new leaf. Many Christians today can’t even cast out demons and heal people.

The power of God is still available to us if we are willing to walk with God. Many people have believed the idea that miracles that happened in the Bible can’t happen again.

Our Relationship With Christ

Do you know who you are

Our relationship with God is really important in our journey as children of God. There are promises made available to us, but we can only access them if we are closer to our father.

Coming from a Christian home is not enough because we are to know Christ personally.

There are a lot of people from Christian homes that are not close to God. It’s up to us to make the decision if we want to accept God and walk with him.

When Paul was going around preaching about Christ and casting out demons, some people thought they could do the same.

Acts 19:13-16 (NIV)

“Some Jews who went around driving out evil spirits tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who were demon-possessed. They would say, ‘In the name of the Jesus whom Paul preaches, I command you to come out.’

Seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, were doing this. One day the evil spirit answered them, ‘Jesus I know, and Paul I know about, but who are you?’

Then the man who had the evil spirit jumped on them and overpowered them all. He gave them such a beating that they ran out of the house naked and bleeding.”

Demons and our problems know when we are close to God or not. The devil will do his best to torment us, and if we are not strong, that will destroy us.

Having Faith Means That We Are To Be Crazy

Bible that believed in God in the past were crazy in the eyes of those around them.

Moses: Moses would sound insane if he ever told someone that God instructed him to split the Red Sea with his rod.

People of Israel: It sounds insane if Israelis have ever claimed that gazing at a pole will cure someone from a sneak bite.

Numbers 21:8-9 (NIV) “The Lord said to Moses, ‘Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live.’ So Moses made a bronze snake and put it up on a pole. Then when anyone was bitten by a snake and looked at the bronze snake, they lived.”

This event is often seen as a symbol of faith and trust in God’s provision for healing and salvation.

  • Mary: She was told by the Angel of God that she would get pregnant and give birth to the Messiah. People will actually think that she’s not thinking straight. She believed it, and it came to pass.

Thinking that having faith in God wouldn’t make you crazy, you are joking. Everyone who believed in God and those who will still believe will always sound crazy and feel it too.
