Fred Porter Warns Against Divisive Church Practices

Kingdom Culture Church Pastor Fred Porter has issued a stern rebuke against divisive practices within the Church.

In a series of Instagram messages, the pastor addressed several issues plaguing the Christian community, including pastors demanding excessive fees, treating interns poorly, and engaging in turf wars.

Pastor Porter condemned those who criticize and exploit the failures of prominent ministers, emphasizing the importance of recognizing the Holy Spirit’s role as a comforter and not a predator. He also criticized pastors who set exorbitant fees, demand specific materials, and treat interns as servants, reminding them of Jesus’s example of service.

“People who tear down well known ministers and do easy commentary on the carcasses of fallen callings have forgotten the holy spirit is a dove not a vulture,” the message reads. “Pastors who have crazy set fee’s, demand a certain kind of water and treat interns as servants have forgotten Jesus did not come to be served but to serve.”

Additionally, the pastor addressed the issue of pastors who treat departing members poorly, emphasizing the importance of building the Kingdom of God rather than engaging in turf wars. He warned against the pursuit of fame and status within the Church, reminding individuals that the voice of God is often found in quiet moments rather than grand displays.

Furthermore, he urged church members to be mindful of their actions and to avoid causing harm to the Body of Christ.

The pastor’s message concluded with a cautionary note, reminding believers of the importance of healing from past hurts and avoiding the temptation to leave the church altogether.

“People who leave the church forever due to church hurt have forgotten pain is something we heal from not something we worship,” he shares,

The Instagram post has garnered significant attention with many praising the pastor for his candid and timely message.
