“I Am Afraid Of Disappointing God” – Sarah Jakes Roberts: Popular American pastor, Sarah Jakes Robert has shared what is one of her greatest fears.
Pastor Sarah who is the leader of the Woman Evolve Movement and a Co-Pastor of The Potter’s House Church shared with her fans on Instagram what her fear is and how that fear motivates her in her service to God.
In an Instagram post, Pastor Sarah stated as follows: “I work hard to steward the grace and influence God has given me with wisdom. Sometimes, it’s out of fear of messing up and disappointing God or others. Don’t worry; I’m in therapy about that trauma response.
However, she pointed out that despite her fears, she is happy that it is serving as a motivation and keeping on her feet and spirit alert.
“Lately, I’ve been toying with the idea that I’m doing a good job. Certainly not perfect, and there is room to grow. Still, I’m proud of the sensitivity to the Holy Spirit that’s showing up as good fruit in my relationships, messages, content, and ministry.
It makes me happy.”
Pastor Sarah who recently visited Africa where she ministered at the Spirit Life Conference in Lagos alongside her father, posed a question too.
“Who would you become if you were no longer motivated by the fear of failure and, instead, embraced the lessons and joy in the journey? I plan on finding out the answer.”
