Joyce Meyer Ministries Mobilizes Relief After Hurricane Helene’s Devastation
In response to Hurricane Helene’s destructive path across the Southeast United States which left millions without power and communities in urgent need of support, Joyce Meyer Ministries has mobilized its global mission arm, Hand of Hope, to provide critical relief to affected communities.
According to a social media post by Joyce Meyer, the organization is partnering with Mercy Chefs to deliver hot meals to affected communities and first responders in Newberry, Florida.
Additionally, in collaboration with Revo Church in Ocala, Florida, Hand of Hope is distributing essential supplies such as generators, cleaning products, gas, and chainsaws to Crystal River and Cedar Key, Florida.
In a recent post, Meyer emphasized the dire situation faced by many, particularly highlighting the McCall family who lost their home in Horseshoe Beach.
Despite the devastation, they “remain steadfast in their faith, trusting that God will provide even through this tragedy,” the post reads.
Hand of Hope, along with Mercy Chefs, provided the McCall family with a hot meal as they began the arduous task of salvaging their belongings.
“It’s a small comfort in such difficult times, but one that brings a bit of hope,” the post reads.
Meyer expressed gratitude to their partners and invited followers to join in prayer for the family as they began the daunting task of rebuilding.
The organization also appealed for prayers for not only the McCall family but everyone involved in the tragic event.
“We invite you to join us in prayer for everyone impacted by this disaster,” they appealed. “Lives have changed overnight, but we believe that the God of Hope will bring peace and comfort to those who need it most.”
