Live as a Soldier of Christ Jesus: Most of us don’t really know that God wants us to be warriors. The way we live our lives should please God all the time.
Our heavenly father is aware that we are not perfect, but we must be willing to improve. He came to die for us so that our relationship with God would be restored.
Jesus Christ came while we were still sinners, and he was willing to give up his life for us. Improvement is so important in this journey called life.
Being on the same level for the rest of our lives won’t make us good soldiers of Christ. When we get to heaven, we are to give an account of everything we have done on earth and the talents given to us.
As children of God, we are not on earth to gather materials like bags, shoes, clothes, cars, and houses; the goal is to explore.
The experience we get here on earth is what we are going to give account of in heaven. Every single one of us has been blessed by God with unique and special gifts or talents.
It doesn’t matter how big or small your gifts are; make sure that you use them wisely. Jesus Christ told us in a in a parable in the Holy Bible about talents, which is an indicator that he cares about our gifts.
Warriors Don’t Give Up
One of the main reasons why most of us give up on life or a dream is because we don’t understand who we are.
In Christ Jesus, we are fearfully and wonderfully made, so let us explore like that. Soldiers are aware that they are going to face challenges, so they prepare for us.
As Christians, we are meant to understand that life comes with trials and tribulations. Jesus Christ told us that life is filled with challenges, but we should not fear because he has given us victory.
John 16:33 (NLT)
I have told you all this so that you may have peace with me. Here on earth, you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”
It is not a surprise that we face challenges, but giving up should not be an option. Let us do our best every day to be strong for God because he does the same for us all the time.
We are not alone.
Don’t be afraid of being a soldier of Christ, because it is different from being a real-life soldier. Our own type of warrior is that we are never alone, and we are not the ones fighting the battle.
The Lord wants us to just show up for him so that he can fight his battle. Make yourself available to the Lord, and he will take control and guide you.
He made a promise to us that he would never leave us or forsake us in life. Our duty is to depend on him all the time and also do everything that he has instructed us to do.
Listen, we are not meant to deal with life with our own strength. Do your best to improve and perform well, then leave the rest for us because he’s always in control.
The thought he has for every single one of us of good and not evil is to give us a beautiful end. Many of us are afraid of saying, “God, let your will be done,” because we feel that his plan is not cool.
His plan currently may not make sense, but in the end, we are always happy. When Jesus Christ was leaving the earth, he knew that we couldn’t deal with life on our own, so he gifted us the Holy Spirit.
The spirit of God is always in us, doing his best to guide us through life. One of our biggest problems is that we don’t listen to him or invite him to guide us.
God loves us so much that he is interested in everything that we do. He wants us to invite him all the time with our own power of free will.
