Pastor Levi Lusko Pens Tribute For Daughter, Livvy
Levi Lusko shared a touching and personal tribute to his daughter, Livvy Bird, marking a significant milestone in her journey. Reflecting on their shared history, Levi wrote, “Your mother and I were 23 when you were born. We knew as little about being a mom and a dad as you knew about being a human, and with the Lord’s help and the right voices speaking into our lives, we have figured it out together. You changed our lives in the most wonderful way, turning two people into something very different—parents.”
Levi reminisces about the early days when they moved to Montana to start Fresh Life Church. “You were 15 months old when we packed everything up into a moving container and headed to the mountains of Montana to start a church. We knew even less about church planting than we knew about parenting, but with the Lord’s help and the right voices speaking into our lives, we have figured it out together.”
He acknowledges Livvy’s unwavering presence throughout their ministry’s journey. “There has never been a Fresh Life without a Livvy Bird. You were the first child in our church. Just about every sermon, book, campus, tour, victory, wound, and loss, you have been there for it.”
As Livvy embarks on a new chapter in Alabama, Levi celebrates her faith and bravery. “I see the wisdom and irony of God in calling you to the South. I applaud the faith you’ve shown moving to unknown territory.” He humorously adds, “If you start drinking sweet tea and measuring biscuits relative to a cat’s head, we may need to stage an intervention!”
Levi concludes with pride, “We are so grateful you are studying at @HighlandsCollege and serving at @churchofthehighlands. I know you will thrive and fulfill all Jesus has prepared you for. I am so proud of you, @aliviaskylusko.”
