Pastor Levi Lusko Shares Son’s Recovery from Asthma Flare-Up
Pastor Levi Lusko of Fresh Life Church has shared a heartwarming story of his son, Lennox’s, recent recovery from an asthma flare-up.
The pastor’s only son, who was diagnosed with asthma earlier this year, experienced a severe episode that required emergency medical attention.
“We had a brief scare this week when Lennox, who was diagnosed with asthma earlier this year, had a flare-up that took us beyond our comfort level treating him at home,” the pastor shared on social media. “We ended up in the emergency room for 1/2 a day, and they nearly admitted him.”
Despite the frightening experience, Lennox responded well to treatment, and his oxygen levels stabilized. The young boy’s resilience and positive attitude were a source of comfort for his parents. “He was so sweet and kept apologizing to us for the inconvenience,” the pastor recalled. “Little sweetheart.”
The experience was particularly emotional for the family as they were in the room across the hall from where their daughter, Lenya, had been treated for an asthma attack before her tragic passing at the age of 5 on December 12, 2012. “The experience was not without its emotional upheaval,” the pastor admitted. “But God was with us and is so kind even in scary times.”
The pastor expressed gratitude for the prayers and support received from the community. He also expressed his unwavering faith in God’s presence during this difficult time.
“I was reminded yet again that He is near to those who call upon Him,” he wrote. “Thank you for your prayers for our little man!” Lennox has since fully recovered and is back to his usual vibrant self.
