Robert Fergusson Sermons Two Syllable Fruit

According Pastor Robert, the Hillsong church mantra is “Loving God, Loving People and Living Life”. The mantra may look easy but it is not easy to put into practice.
Reading from the book of Galatians 5:20, which is the text for the message,we see the bible list out the fruits of the spirit for us. The fruits of the spirit look impossible and that is what they are meant to be. Here is why; it is the fruit of the spirit and not something that we can achieve on our own.
How do we go about this/ How do we produce this fruit? Jesus has the answer when he said that “Iam the vine…he that remain in me will bear fruit”. if you want this fruit of the spirit to be produced in you, all you have to do is to remain in Christ.
Speaking on the two syllable fruit, the fruits here have to do with our relationship with people; loving people more like it. The fruits are Patience, Kindness and goodness and this fruits are central to our human relationships. In this message, pastor Robert teaches us how we can produce this fruits to help our relationship.
the first thong to know is that there is a difference between success and fruitfulness. Success is something you do but fruitfulness is something that God does through us. One can be successful without being fruitful because it is not by our hands that fruitfulness comes.
Going further on it, he tells us that one way we show this fruit is through the spoken word that comes from us. God places so much emphasis on the mouth because he knows how powerful our words is. He tells us that we should allow God’s word to pour in us and come through us.
The two syllable fruits is God in us and one way we can achieve these fruits is by allowing God to be in us.
