“How I’m looking at Monday bringing her ol raggedy self around the corner. She knows we barely had the kind of weekend we needed to show up as responsible, spirit-filled, patient, and kind citizens of the Kingdom. But here she come anyway with bells on and a ugly Christmas sweater.
You know you’ve got an attitude when you read a day of the week for filth.
Seriously though, s/o to everyone getting to the root of their frustration, pain, and brokenness so that they can tap into a well of love, peace, and faith.
I was texting with a friend earlier and mentioned, “God already knows what we’re trying to figure out.”
My prayer on days like today isn’t for God to change my circumstance but for God to elevate my perspective so that I can see my situation the way God does. May we all move from a place of doubt and worry to peace, trust, love, and faith.
