Televangelist Keith Moore Comes Under Fire for Acquiring a Third Private Jet

Televangelist, Keith Moore of Faith Life International has recently come under scrutiny for purchasing his third private jet. The jet,  a Dassault Falcon 7X, for $17.5 million is his latest addition to his fleet,. It is said that the purchase was funded by a $10 million campaign through his ministry. Moore already owns two other aircraft : a Dassault Falcon 900 EX and a Raytheon 390. The purchase has reignited discussions about the ethics of spending ministry funds on luxury items. It has also raised concerns about transparency and financial stewardship within religious communities.

It is said that Moore, who is a licensed pilot, uses these jets primarily to travel between his churches. While some argue that private jets are a practical necessity for pastors with demanding travel schedules, critics say otherwise. They argue that the money spent on Moore’s new jet could have covered over 26,000 commercial plane tickets.

This acquisition has led to renewed questions about the responsible use of donations within religious organizations. Critics argue that such extravagant spending can undermine the church’s mission and credibility, especially when these funds could be better utilized for charitable efforts and community outreach. The ongoing debate highlights broader concerns about financial excess and the priorities of certain segments of the evangelical community.
