Why Are Christians Full Of Themselves? Is it a secret that God is against pride and belittling of anyone? There have been many incidents where people have called out Christians for being prideful.

The truth is that many Christians are not perfect; we are trying to grow. Some of our bad traits still show if we are not willing to be aware of our attitude.

The bad characters that we have should be something we are willing to change. Everything that is bad in our lives is being changed by God if we are willing to change.

Sometimes our bad behaviors will do their best to show up but are left for us to hold back. Let us remember that as children of God, we are never alone because we have the Holy Spirit.

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Deuteronomy 31:6)

Change is a continuous process, so anytime that we notice something to change, let us point it out. Being honest with ourselves is the best decision we can make in life.

Just because we go to church and read our Bibles does not mean we can belittle others. None of us are perfect, so let us do our best to work on traits that are bad.

Let us behave right.

As children of God, let us understand that we are being watched by everyone. The way that we relate to people really matters because we are representing God.

From the moment that we identify as Christians, everyone is watching us. Being watched should not make us scared because we can influence people positively.

It may not be easy all the time, but with constant practice, we can improve. Becoming better comes from the constant practice of becoming a godly person.

Most people think not liking material things or dressing fancy makes them better than others. We are meant to behave right in many places in our lives.

Remember that as a child of God, we are meant to transform into better. The Word of God has given us tips on how to transform to become representatives of Christ Jesus.

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing, and perfect will.” (Romans 12:2, NIV)

This verse highlights three key tips for transformation:

1. Do not conform to the world. Avoid following the values and behaviors of the world that go against God’s principles.
2. Renew your mind: Transformation begins by changing how you think, aligning your thoughts with God’s truth.
3. Discern God’s will: When your mind is renewed, you’ll better understand and follow God’s will, which is good and perfect.

We Have The Gift Of The Holy Spirit

1. Renewing our minds

   “But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.” (John 14:26)
   The Holy Spirit helps us understand and remember God’s Word, which transforms our thinking and leads to renewal of the mind.

2. Guiding us into truth

   “But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth.” (John 16:13)
   The Holy Spirit reveals the truth about God and His will for our lives, helping us avoid deception and align with God’s purposes.

3. Empowering us to overcome sin

   “So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.” (Galatians 5:16)
   The Holy Spirit empowers us to resist sinful desires and live a life that pleases God.

4. Producing the fruit of the Spirit

   “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.” (Galatians 5:22-23)
   As we allow the Holy Spirit to work in us, He produces Christ-like qualities, transforming our character to reflect God’s nature.

5. Convicting us of sin and righteousness

   “When he comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment.” (John 16:8)
   The Holy Spirit convicts us when we stray from God’s ways, guiding us back to righteousness and deeper transformation.

6. Strengthening our inner being

   “I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being.” (Ephesians 3:16)
   The Holy Spirit strengthens us from within, giving us the power to live transformed lives that reflect Christ’s love and holiness.
