Your Scars Are Part Of Your Stories

Your scars are part of your stories.

Your Scars Are Part Of Your Stories: No one on earth has a perfect life and is fine, so don’t beat yourself up.

The truth is that there are people in life who can have a better life than yourself, but don’t be jealous. Everyone on earth is facing their own challenges, and their feelings are valid.

A lot of us have believed the biggest lie that rich people don’t have problems. As children of God, we are in the best position to understand how this life works because our father is the creator.

Every trouble that we encounter in life is allowed by God to make us stronger. He told us in the Bible that we won’t encounter problems bigger than us.

Many of us allow our circumstances to get in the way of our relationship with God. Complaining is now normalized in our society, mostly in the Christian community.

The reason the people of Israel spent 40 years in wilderness was because of their bad habit of complaining.

Our heavenly hates it when we complain because that shows that he’s not powerful. Believing in God will not always make sense to many people because they don’t know God.

There Are People In The Bible Known Because Of Their Scars

As children of God, we have read or heard stories about great men and women who trusted God.

  • Job: In the Bible, Job lost almost everything he held dear. He was a wealthy man with a large family, extensive livestock, and many servants. However, in a series of devastating events, Job lost:
  1. His Wealth: All his livestock and servants were either stolen or killed.
  2. His Family: All his children died in a tragic accident when a house collapsed on them.
  3. His Health: Job was afflicted with painful sores all over his body.

Despite these losses, Job remained faithful to God, and after a period of intense suffering and questioning, he was ultimately restored with even greater blessings than before.

  • Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: In the Bible, the friends of Daniel were Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. These three young men, along with Daniel, were taken captive from Judah to Babylon. They were known for their faithfulness to God and their refusal to worship the idols of Babylon.
  1. Refusal to Worship the Golden Image: King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon erected a large golden statue and commanded everyone to worship it. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refused to bow down to the statue, as it was against their faith.
  2. The Fiery Furnace: As a punishment for their refusal, Nebuchadnezzar ordered that they be thrown into a blazing furnace. The furnace was heated seven times hotter than usual. However, God protected them, and they emerged from the fire unharmed. A fourth figure, described as “like a son of the gods,” appeared with them in the fire, signifying divine protection.
  3. Promotion: After witnessing their miraculous deliverance, Nebuchadnezzar praised their God and promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego to higher positions in the province of Babylon.

Prophet Elijah was a significant figure in the Bible known for his miracles and strong opposition to idol worship. Key moments in his life include:

  1. Confrontation with Baal’s Prophets: Elijah challenged the prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel, where God sent fire from heaven to consume Elijah’s offering, proving His power over Baal.
  2. Miracles: Elijah performed several miracles, including providing food for a widow during a famine and raising her son from the dead.
  3. Fleeing from Jezebel: After defeating Baal’s prophets, Elijah fled into the wilderness to escape Queen Jezebel, who sought to kill him.
  4. Encounter with God: In the wilderness, Elijah had a profound encounter with God, who spoke to him in a gentle whisper.
  5. Passing the Mantle: Elijah anointed Elisha as his successor and was eventually taken up to heaven in a whirlwind, symbolizing his special status as a prophet.

Reminder: Whatever you are facing in life or pain you are facing, just know that they are going to make you stronger. Keep being faithful to God, and he won’t leave you or forsake you.
