Be Doers of God’s Word: Many of us in the world today only listen to the word of God but don’t act on it. Our heavenly father wants us to obey everything that he has commanded in the Bible.
Every commandment in the Bible is for our own good, because when we obey them, it will enrich our lives. If we obey and love one another, that will make us have a peaceful life.
The Bible has instructed us many times about choosing the right path, so if we obey it, that will lead us to a successful future. Staying away from sin and sinful people will help us stay out of trouble.
We have to know that God loves us so much that he has given us a manual on how to live a better life. When we forgive those who have wronged us, that will free us from holding on to unforgiveness.
It is important for us to obey the command of the Lord if we want to see improvement in our lives. The Bible has the secret to so many things we want to achieve in life, like
- Success: (James 4:10, Psalms 37:4, Genesis 39:2–6, Proverbs 3:1–4)
- Riches: (1 Timothy 6:17–19, Revelation 3:17, Mark 12:41–44, Proverbs 10:4, Deuteronomy 8:17–18)
- Peaceful life: (Isaiah 26:3, 1 Peter 5:7, Psalm 4:8, Romans 5:1, Psalm 119:165)
- Freedom: (1 Corinthians 6:12, Galatians 5:13–14, Galatians 3:22, Galatians 5:1, Ephesians 3:12)
- Love: (1 Corinthians 16:14, 1 Corinthians 13:4–7, 1 Corinthians 13:13, 1 John 4:7-8, 1 Peter 4:8)
- Broken relationship: (Psalm 34:17–18, Psalm 30:5b, Psalm 73:26, 1 Peter 5:7, Philippians 4:6-7)
The Bible Is The Answer
For anything that we want, the Bible has the answer because it’s the word of God. When we read and do what the Bible tells us, that will improve us.
No matter what we are facing in life, God has already given us the answer, and it is in the Bible. Many of us are struggling because we don’t read or do what the Bible tells us.
God has given us the Holy Spirit, and with him inside of us, to help us understand the Bible. When we don’t remember anything, he will remind us and teach us all we need to know.
Maybe you have lost your job or loved ones, and nothing makes sense to us but reading the Bible. The Lord is speaking to us all the time, even when we open our Bible.
If you want to excel in your business or education, just apply what the Bible has instructed. Jesus Christ came on earth to teach us everything that will help us, and it was written for us to read and learn.
We cannot learn without practicing what the Bible says daily in our lives. The only thing that makes us different from the rest of the world is that we have God with us.
As Christians, when we don’t obey the word of God, that means that we don’t value God. We can only sin when we don’t obey the commandments of the Lord.
Our duty as children of God is to do everything that God has instructed us to do. Our obedience is important in our walk with Christ.
Obedient will help us to live better lives and also help us to make it to the kingdom of God. Our heavenly father does not want any of us to perish, so obey everything that he commands.
