Be serious about your spiritual growth.

Be serious about your spiritual growth: We all believe that we are not perfect and no one will ever be, but God wants us to aim for excellence in everything we do.

Most Christians have lived their entire lives just as babies, but God wants us to grow. When we improve and grow, that helps us achieve the purpose that we were sent here for.

Being a baby Christian can be fun, but it won’t last because you can’t resist temptation and trials. As Christians, we have to come to a point in our lives where we are not afraid of any life challenges.

Growth Christians, instead of complaining when things are not working, pray. There is nothing in our lives that prayer won’t fix because God is listening and he cares.

Aiming for perfection in our own strength is impossible; that’s why depending on God is important. Our Heavenly Father knows that we are not perfect, but he still wants us.

Children of God must be willing to allow God and the Holy Spirit to transform them. Our goal here on earth is to please God and make heaven at the end, just like Jesus Christ.

It’s time to grow.

It’s time for every one of us to take our spiritual growth seriously so that we can serve God better. The enemy is working hard and gathering his army so that they can overtake the world, so we Christians must be careful.

The Holy Bible told us to watch and pray always, and we have to do that. The world has been normalizing many sins for the past few years, and we don’t have to follow them.

Our mentor and role model is Jesus Christ, and only his footstep is what we have to follow. Our Lord Jesus, while he was on earth, never disappointed God.

We can claim that Jesus was perfect because he was God in the human body, but that’s not true. Jesus Christ was able to please his father because of his obedience.

Most Christians today don’t obey the commandments of God, and trusting him is hard for us too. Complaining is common among many Christians, and hatred can be found in the hearts of many.

We may not be perfect, but our God is, so we must follow him and obey his commandments. The rules and regulations of God are not for his benefit but are for us to be saved because he loves us.

God can raise stones to praise him, and he can create another entity, but still, he chose us in love. He never desires that any of us shall perish in hell.

He has designed a beautiful place for us to come to, which is called heaven. No one can make it to heaven if we are not obeying him all the time.

Some steps to help you with spiritual growth

  1. Write Down Your Goals: We have to know what we are hoping to achieve, which should be heaven. Write down how you want your relationship with God to be. Maybe it’s creating a deeper connection with God, fostering inner peace, or living with more purpose.
  2. Study and meditate: The word of God should not depart from our mouth; it is God’s instruction to us. As children of God, reading the Bible should be our habit. When our hearts and minds are filled with the word of God, that can help us grow spiritually.
  3. Pray: Prayer is our way of communicating with God, and God is ready to listen to us. As his children, we have to talk with our father all the time and tell him all that is bothering us.
  4. Surround yourself with the right people. If your goal is to grow in the Lord, it is important for us to be with the right people. Have Christian friends that love talking about the salvation of Christ and attend church.
  5. Be more grateful. As children of God, we have to be grateful for everything in our lives. There will be times in our lives when nothing makes sense, but being grateful is our answer. We have to learn how to count our blessings, and being grateful opens a big door of blessings in our lives.
  6. Challenges are for growth. Everything that we face in life is allowed by God so that we can grow. Our father is interested in all areas of our lives, so any areas we see challenges, think about what God is trying to teach you. If you face financial problems, always evaluate to see if God is trying to teach you about budgeting and planning.
  7. Love Other People: Learn to love yourself and those around you because when we love, we grow more. God is love, and he wants us to dwell and operate in love so that we can be better.
