Understanding is important.
Understanding is important: Most of the problems we have here on earth are based on a lack of understanding. Everyone wants the other to understand them but is not willing to do the same.
Jesus Christ has instructed us in the Bible to love one another as we love our lives. We can’t be understanding if we don’t learn how to love, because love is the foundation of every good trait.
There won’t be a world war if everyone does their best to understand or even love each other. It does not matter our background, religion, race, education, or status in society.
Love is the greatest of all the traits in the world because, with it, we will all live in peace. In 1 Corinthians 13:13, Paul writes, “So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love,” leading some Christians to conclude that love is more important than faith or hope.
It is really difficult for many of us to hear each other out because we are quick to judge. As Christians, if we see someone not living right, we can correct them in love.
Judging people makes them run away from you, and how can you tell them about Jesus Christ? If you can’t correct them in love, just pray for them, and our heavenly father can work in them.
God is always listening to our prayers, so when we pray for people, he can work on them.
We can live in peace.
To have a peaceful life is what everyone desires, but no one is willing to do the work. For everything that we desire in life, we must be willing to pay the price so that we can have it.
Jesus Christ has to pay for our sins so that we can come back to God. So if you want a peaceful life, just know that there are prices you must pay.
To live in peace and have a peaceful mind is easy, but there must be efforts. As children of God, we are instructed by God to live in peace with all men at all times.
In order for us to live in peace, we must have the Holy Spirit inside of us so that he can work on us. If the bad traits in our lives are not taken care of, we won’t grow in Christ.
- Forgiveness: Learning how to be more forgiving can help us have a peaceful life. People are going to hurt us or make us angry, but we must decide not to allow our emotions to control us.
Remember, you can feel angry, but don’t let your anger control you. So anytime you are angry, call on God to calm you down. Being quick and forgiving takes a lot of practice in order to perfect it.
Forgiveness is one of the biggest traits of all Christians because our father is forgiving.
- Caring for People: There is no selfish person who is happy in life, so don’t be one. Everyone thinks that selfish people win always, but remember that they can never be happy. We are created to care for one another so that the love of God can spread around the world. When you have anything to share, don’t hold it back because we are representing Jesus Christ.
- Correct in Love: We might have a friend or a family member who is not living right; maybe they are addicts. Don’t judge them in a bad light, but instead correct them in love. Pray for them always so that God can work on them.
- Spend time with God. In our journey as Christians, we must make time for our heavenly father. Spending time with God helps us understand his traits, which we can apply to our lives with time. Praying and reading the Bible with intention can change our whole lives because God loves us.
