Craig Groeschel Says Hiring Jerry Hurley is His Top Best Decisions

Life church Founder Craig Groeschel says hiring Life Church’s team Development Leader Jerry Hurley is one of his top best decisions.

While celebrating Pastor Hurley’s 25 years anniversary in Life Church, Groeschel disclosed that employing Hurley was among the top best decisions he has made for the church since its foundation in 1996.

“At the top of the list of best decisions I ever made for was hiring Pastor @jerryfhurley,” Groeschel wrote in a Monday Instagram post.

Groechel also expressed his admiration over Heurleys dedication towards the church activities. “There will never be words to accurately describe your impact on #lifechurch or the thousands of lives you’ve impacted. Who you are matters just as much or even more than all you have done (which is immeasurable).” Our friendship means so much to me. Happy 25-year anniversary.” he concluded.

Pastor Hurley is “responsible for the team and cultural development at Life Church,” states the church website. “He helps shape the overall direction and leadership of the church. He oversees the Staff Operations, Training & Development, Finance, Logistics, and Creative Media teams, as well as the LifeGroups/LifeMissions and NextGen ministries.”

Life church was founded in January 1996 by Craig Groeschel and his wife Amy Groeschel. Its First fellowship was held in a rented dance studio in Edmond, Oklahoma. It had about 130 attendees in the first few weeks.

Life Church however has significantly grown over the years with the launch of the Life Church tv channel, massively increasing number of attendants, establishment of various campuses across the state, and launch of a Bible App for children.

“When Life Church started in 1996, we gathered together in whatever place would hold us. Today, Life. Church is a diverse group of people meeting in cities across the United States and around the world. We love to gather, but we know it’s not just about getting together. The church is more than a place to go. It’s who we are as followers of Christ,” states the Life church website.
