In this sermon, he revealed that after hearing from Epaphras about the false teaching that was infiltrating the church in Colossae, Paul wrote to them to remind them of the superiority of Christ.
He said God loves to take things that we don’t understand, things that don’t make sense to us and do something mighty with it. He may be working in you … you may think what you’re doing is insignificant but if God is in it … you do not need to worry.
Pastor David said he hears a lot of people talking about Jesus is my rock, He’s my foundation. He said he thinks Jesus was kind of a charitable guy and people disagree on what He stood for but on the other hand He could have just been a really nice guy. In Him all things were created … things in heaven and on earth.
