Do Not Conform To Worldly Things
Do Not Conform to Worldly Things: With everything that is going on in the world, we Christians have to be careful.
We are quick to adapt to new behaviors, cultures, and ideals. It’s sometimes good, and sometimes it’s not.
We meet people with diverse mindsets and ideas, and we are continuously exposed to a variety of situations; let none of these impact your God-given standards.
We have to always know that we are God’s children, and we have to behave like him all the time.
- Refresh your thoughts. One of the best ways to resist the world’s pressures is to read and meditate on scripture on a daily basis. Renew your mind with the word of God and your key identities in Christ.
- Control your craving for attention. A lot of us want to fit in and be liked by others. We should develop close relationships with God instead of trying to get other people’s validation.
- Hold on to your faith values: No matter what is going on in the world, we have to lean on our faith in God.
- Be careful what you feed on. Be careful about what you watch online or offline. We should not allow what we see change our faith value in God.
Conclusion: If we don’t lean in to our faith values as Christians, we will inevitably fall out of God’s will.
God desires that we live in accordance with his will for us and that we remain steadfast in him.
