Pastor Dharius teaches us in this message how we can speak God’s love language and what it is. God is very clear all throughout scripture regarding this love language; he just repeats it and repeats it. He’s dealing with some divine discontent because he’s like, “Keep telling you what I want. In Psalms 95:6, “Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let’s kneel before the Lord God, our work maker. In Psalms 29:2, I said, “Give unto the Lord the glory; do his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of heaviness and holiness.” In Psalms 150:6, “let everything that has breath praise the Lord.” God is telling us throughout the Bible what he wants us to do, but we don’t want to do it. Anybody who accepts anything that you give them is a person who does not have standards, so God said, “You just think I’m just supposed to be glad.
The principle we see throughout scripture is that just because something is offered doesn’t mean it’s accepted. Our commitment to God is what God wants from us: to do the right thing. God is saying, “This is a love language for him.” What’s the love language, worship? It means to express worth and value. No one wants to be in a relationship where they don’t feel valued, not even God. We have to show God that we value him with our commitment and loyalty.
