Fred Porter Announces Expansion Plans with Church’s New Facility

Kingdom Culture Church leaders Pastor Fred Porter and his wife Anna Porter have taken to social media to share plans for their new church facility in North Brisbane.

The announcement comes just two months after the church secured a lease for the new location, marking a significant step forward for the growing congregation.

The new facility boasts a significant increase in capacity, able to accommodate 500 people per service with dedicated children’s areas, a far cry from the current facility’s 300-person limit.

This expansion caters not only to the church’s growth but also reflects the church’s commitment to fostering a welcoming and well-equipped environment for families.

“We are so excited to be able to host our community well!” shared Pastor Porter on social media. The new space features a large foyer, a much-needed addition to the church, as well as dedicated areas for parents, a crèche, a vibrant kids’ ministry space, a cafe/espresso bar, and even a prayer room.

Before this announcement, the church leadership had embarked on a period of dedicated prayer, focusing not on their growth but on becoming a beacon of blessing for the surrounding community.

“The focus wasn’t that we would be blessed,” Pastor Fred explained at the time, “but that the region would be blessed and that our church, along with other amazing churches in the region, would release heaven to all who come near our facility.”

With the project manager now engaged and designs submitted for council approval, construction is anticipated to be completed by the end of 2024 or early 2025. The news has generated a wave of enthusiasm amongst the KCC_au congregation.
