Kingdom Culture Church Signs Lease for New Facility
It was a monumental day in the church’s history as Kingdom Culture Church (KCC), led by Fred Porter and his wife Anna, signed a lease for a new facility in North of Brisbane.
The excited couple took to social media yesterday to share the news, calling it “revival time” for the region. According to the social media post, this move comes after a period of dedicated prayer by Pastor Caleb Sheppard. The prayer focused on the church becoming a blessing to the surrounding community, not just itself.
“His focus was not that we would be blessed and things would go well for us but that the region would be blessed and that our church would release heaven (along with other amazing churches in the region) to all who come near our facility,” reads the post.
KCC’s leadership is thrilled about the location’s proximity to residents. Pastor Porter described the vision as “a church in the wild,” emphasizing their desire to be a place of care and connection for those Jesus seeks to reach.
He revealed, however, that the facility lease fulfills his vision to build a house for God. “It’s been in my heart since November 2023 to build God a house,” Porter revealed.
With construction set to begin soon, KCC looks forward to this exciting new chapter, serving the far north of Brisbane and bringing God’s message to all who come near.
The facility lease, however, was facilitated by generous donations from the church members. On Pentecost Sunday, the church received over $400,000 in donations specifically designated for the new facility.
At the time, Pastor Porter took to social media to share the news and express his excitement. “We announced that over $400,000 has been given towards our new facility fit-out,” he shared.
“We are so blessed by your generosity, church! Praise the Lord. We can now move confidently forward with Phases 1 and 2 of the project and will keep you updated.”
