How to Deal With People You Don’t Like: The truth is that we are not going to be like everyone else in our lives. God commanded us to love everyone, so we must obey him.
We are not meant to like everyone in order to love them. Love is a decision to treat someone right even when they don’t deserve it.
Their personalities can be bad, and they may have areas of their lives that need improvement. No one is perfect, and we’ll never meet anyone who is perfect in this regard.
Everyone of us has areas of our lives that we need to improve on. Just because we don’t like someone does not mean we should treat them badly.
As children of them, we are not allowed to behave like every other person on earth. Our behavior should represent God in every area of our lives.
People are watching us, and if we don’t behave right, they won’t be interested in knowing our God. When we behave right, that will attract people to us, and we’ll lead them to God.
It can be hard to behave in this world currently, but we are not meant to do it on our own. The Holy Spirit is there in our spirit to guide us through everything.
Be Careful
Just people, we are meant to love everyone. We must be careful in order not to lose ourselves. We are to be careful not to let anyone influence us in a bad way.
Bad company corrupts good manners, so it is important for us to pay attention to the type of friends we keep.
Not everyone is meant to be our friend, but we are not to treat them badly. Everyone that we come across is permitted by God, and he’s watching us.
We must be aware of emotional vampires because they can drain our energy. Emotional vampires are people who are ungrateful, no matter how much love you show them.
They will never be thankful for the things that you do for them. Let’s be wise enough to identify them in our lives; they can be friends, family, classmates, or co-workers.
Not everyone that comes into our lives has good intentions for us, so it is left to us to protect ourselves. Treat people with kindness, but don’t allow anyone to drain you emotionally.
We can’t please everyone.
In life, it is so hard to please everyone in our lives, so we make the right decisions for ourselves. When we ask a lot of people to make decisions for us, that will not turn out great.
Just because God told us to love everyone does not mean we should allow them to control us. Do the right thing and have good behaviors toward everyone, but know your limits.
If you notice that there are people in your life who don’t appreciate you, let them go. There are moments in our lives when we have to stand up for ourselves.
Know when you are not appreciated in anyone’s life, and be comfortable not being welcomed. People have problems in their lives that they need to solve on their own.
It is not for us to solve their problems for them, but we can always pray for them. Show kindness to them when needed, and know our limits.
