Everybody in life is going to get hurt, no matter who you are or what you are, and some of us have been hurt already and might get hurt again, but the good news is that the great healer lives on the inside of us as believers in Jesus Christ.
We usually get what we put up with in life. If you are in a bad relationship and you see yourself going back to the person who hurt you, you have to stand up for yourself. You might have boatloads of problems, but you have to know that the word of God works and that it will change you and heal you.
You will experience God’s healing power in your life. We need more than just a prayer to be healed.
We have a misconception about prayer; we think when we pray that God fixes everything, but the truth is that when we pray, God shows us what we need to do, God still moves supernaturally, and anything we cannot do, he will do it for us.
If we do nothing and expect God to do everything, that will not happen. If you have been badly hurt by someone, you can get completely well and be whole, but it will not be easy or quick. It will require you to do some things you don’t want to do, things you don’t think are fair, like forgiving people, and God may require you to bless those people.
Because someone treated you wrong, that doesn’t give you a license now to treat them wrong. God never tells us to give other people what they gave us; he always says to treat them the way you would like to be treated. Sometimes you have to treat somebody else right for a long time before they begin to treat you right. Learn to forgive so that you can get healed.
