Today, we bring you a message from Pastor Joyce Meyer titled, “It’s Time to Flip Your Switch.” She teaches us that we need to stop waiting for God to do something and realize that he has already done something inside of us. We just need to wake up to the fact that we have everything we need living inside of us to make a major difference in our little corner of the world, if we’ll just get our minds off ourselves and realize there is a greater purpose for us to serve.
She pointed out that nothing in the world is going to change if the individual people in the world don’t change. We need to get up on the inside to make sure that we stay on fire and pray every day for God to use us and let our light shine. God has got his people all around the world and in every place for a purpose; all we have to do is turn the light inside of us on.
We need to flip the switch that is in our lives and get fed up with living in the darkness. It’s time for us to get out in the world and let our light shine brightly, letting people know that we’re not ashamed that we are believers in Jesus Christ. We don’t need to tell everyone about Jesus, we just have to act like him and let our lives be the example. She tells us that the worst thing we can do is be hyper-religious and get out into the world and act like everybody else. We need to quit waiting for somebody else to come along and make us happy; we have to decide to be happy and not let unhappy people steal our joy.
