Today, we bring you a message from Pastor Joyce Meyer titled Thoughts and Words” The bible said there is mind of the spirit and there is mind of the flesh, when you’re born again then you get the mind of Christ.
1 Corinthian 2vs16 says that “that we have the mind of Christ” So we have a lot of things of wonderful inside of us when we are born again. Jesus comes to live in us and so everything that he is has also comes to live in us too but they come as seeds that have to be watered and developed.
The word of God is what renews our mind because no matter what we have. There is nothing more important to a believer than the word of God, it’s not something that we can ignore, the mind has to be renewed and it is only the word of God in order for us to experience the good plan that God has for our life.
It is wonderful that we can believe, we should thank God everyday for the faith that he’s given us. God never promised us a trouble free life, he just said cheer up that he have overcome the world, in even he promised us tribulation in the world “there will be tribulation but cheer up i have overcome the world”.
We have to learn how to think like God thinks and the only way we can do that is by knowing the word of God. When the bible said cast down wrong thought it means when the Holy Spirit makes us aware that we’re thinking something that is not according to the word of God then we should just replace it with good thought.
We have to know even when we have trouble that God still loves us, we have to think according to his word and think like him.
