Dr. Ken Baugh (born Kenneth F. Baugh) is a pastor in the United States who has been a local church pastor for 25 years. There isn’t much information about him or his parents and family.
After a traumatic experience as a senior pastor in 2014, he founded the Institute for Discipleship Training.
Baugh founded the Institute with the goal of serving as a resource for Christ-formation and gathering a community of believers who want to journey together in Jesus’ discipleship.

Ken graduated from Biola University and received his Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Later, he earned his Doctor of Ministry in Discipleship from Talbot School of Theology in 2016.

Ken Baugh is a spiritual counselor and coach to many pastors and business owners. He began his ministry as a college pastor at Saddleback Church, a role he held from 1992 until 1994.
After leaving Saddleback, he became an associate senior pastor at Mclean Bible Church in 1994. He founded the Frontline youth ministry at Mclean Bible Church. The frontline had around 2500 young adults and employed approximately 22 staff members. From 1994 through 2004, Baugh was a member of McLean Bible Church.
In 2004, he was appointed senior pastor of Coast Hills Community Church in Aliso Vejo, California.
He maintained this role for over a decade.
Baugh founded the Institute for Discipleship Training (IDT Ministries) in 2014. The Institute was founded with the goal of serving as a resource for Christ-formation and gathering a community of believers who want to journey together in discipleship to Jesus. He is also the teaching pastor at Trinity Encounter in southern Montana, where he mentors a group of 15 to 20 men on various aspects of discipleship.
Additionally, Ken Baugh is an author at Outreach Magazine. The Outreach magazine is all about sharing outreach experiences, assisting Christian leaders in discovering ideas, innovations, and resources that will empower them to advance God’s kingdom through local church outreach activities.

In this book, Ken Baugh takes us into the inner workings of the brain and the heart, which determine how we process bad and traumatic experiences, but which can also distract us from health and completeness.
His goal is to help us rewire our minds by immersing ourselves in Scriptures that remind us who we are and what God has promised us.
