Kenneth Copeland Undergoes Successful Appendectomy

Eagle Mountain International Church founder and prominent televangelist Kenneth Copeland recently underwent a successful appendectomy.

Copeland’s family shared the news on social media, highlighting his unwavering faith throughout the experience. Last Thursday, he was rushed to the hospital due to acute abdominal pain. Doctors diagnosed appendicitis and performed surgery the following morning.

The family’s post, titled “Praise Report,” detailed Copeland’s positive attitude. They referenced scripture, emphasizing the strength found in faith during challenging times. Reports indicate that even under light anesthesia during preliminary tests, Copeland expressed his love through song. First, a hymn dedicated to his faith, “There’s Something About That Name,” and then a tender melody, “Misty,” for his wife, Gloria.

Prior to surgery, Copeland’s faith continued to shine. He reportedly quoted scripture, offered blessings to the medical staff, and maintained a cheerful demeanor.

Emerging from surgery, his spirit continued to be strong. While still under sedation, Copeland reportedly preached, referencing a passage on faith from Hebrews, and even prayed in tongues.

The Copeland family expressed their gratitude to God for his healing touch and the support they received. They thanked everyone who shared their faith and love, believing in a swift recovery.

“What a leader we have,” the post read. We thank God that all is well, and we are praising Him for the tremendous favor we have all experienced.”

“Thank you for adding your faith and love to our expectation of a supernaturally fast and easy recovery!”
