Mother Who Claims Son Was Gang Raped At Christian School: A mother from Idaho has filed a federal lawsuit alleging that her son’s early death at the age of 29 last year was caused by the abuse and brutal gang rape he endured at a Christian boarding school in Missouri, which has since closed. The mother said she trusted the school to help her son, who was having behavioral issues.

Jason Britt’s mother, Kathleen Britt, stated in court records obtained by The Springfield News-Leader that she sent her late son to Agape Boarding School in Stockton, Missouri, in 2009 to provide him the opportunity to experience a “safe, kind, and Christian environment free from drugs and alcohol.”

What Jason Britt experienced was something like “a concentration camp or torture colony cloaked in the guise of religion,” the court documents state.

Jason Britt, then 27 years old, revealed to The Kansas City Star that he was raped by three members of the group with a broomstick while being held face down on the floor by several staff members just months after he enrolled at the school as a 16-year-old.

“The best way I can describe it is like a group of savages going after their prey,” he said. “I think it was just evil. I think they were trying to humiliate me in a way that I wouldn’t recover from; that would break my spirit.”

Prior to the school being shut down earlier this year, Jason Britt claimed students at the school would remain in danger if authorities did not act to address the abuse.
