Not Happy And Feeling Confused?

Sometimes in life, we can be confused and unhappy and wonder what is wrong with us. Whether we are questioning if it is God we really heard One thing to remember is that, with God’s help, you can go through the darkness and into the light.

God is not the author of confusion but of peace, and whenever you feel confused, you can be sure that God is not part of it (1 Corinthians 14:33).

Every time you get confused and unhappy, turn to God’s Word, which will clarify every issue that is confusing you.

God sent us His Word to help us whenever we are in need, and when we are confused or unhappy, we can turn to it for answers.

God’s Word is a lamp for our feet and a light for our path, and it shows us clearly which road to take in life.

When we can’t see things clearly, our judgment becomes confused, and we make poor decisions as a result. When we are afraid of going the wrong way, we postpone our decision until we can see the road ahead clearly.

When you seek God, you will find clarity and happiness because He is the only one who knows what is perplexing you and making you sad. It is OK to pray to God for clarity on any issue that is bothering you.

Happiness is a daily goal that requires daily effort and decision-making, rather than a one-time achievement.

How We Can Be Happy and Have Clarity
  1. Clear Our Mind: Our minds are cluttered with the day’s detritus, which includes TV, traffic, worry, office chats, and the demands of our children, among other things. With all of this on our brains, we may become perplexed when attempting to gain insight into a problem. You will acquire insight on many issues by halting the countless thoughts that run through your head. With a clear mind, you can better hear what God is saying to you. By removing distracting thoughts, your mind becomes fertile ground for the voice of God to prevail with clarity.
  2. Express Gratitude for Good Things in Your Life: Being grateful for what you have can transform your life. It helps you focus on what’s going well in your life, making you less likely to be depressed about it. Take time every day to appreciate the good things in life. Also, appreciate others when they do nice things for you. Thanking God for things in your life can open more doors for you.
  3. Pray to God: When dealing with confusion, prayer is usually an excellent place to start. Trust that God will provide you with an answer that will bring clarity. When you pray, God intervenes in your situation and clarifies things for you. God wants you to keep moving forward with a clean mind.
  4. Positive self-talk can replace negative thoughts. Negative thoughts might make it difficult to feel happy, but they can be changed. When you recognize negative ideas, dispute their veracity. Then, replace the negative thinking with a good or neutral thought. Make encouraging remarks to yourself throughout the day.
  5. Surround yourself with people who are positive. Spending time with people who are positive can improve your attitude. Identify the individuals in your life who lift you up and spend more time with them. Invite them to one-on-one hangouts, text them, and plan group activities with them.
