Greg Laurie Calls For Prayers Over Tori Kelly’s Health: Pastor Greg Laurie has called for prayers for popular gospel singer, Tori Kelly after it was reported that she passed out blood clots.
However, in a recent development, the husband to Miss Kelly has stated that the former “American Idol” contestant is “feeling stronger” but “not out of the woods.”
The Grammy Award-winning singer Tori Kelly is currently recovering in the hospital after collapsing from blood clots. Tori had reportedly felt her pulse rate rise while out to dinner with pals on Sunday night in downtown Los Angeles. Shortly after, she reportedly passed out.
According to those who are close to Kelly, the 30-year-old performer was “out for a while.”
She was taken to the hospital by her friend where they found blood clots in her leg, lungs, and heart while treating her in the intensive care unit.
In a social media statement on Wednesday, Kelly’s husband, André Murillo, stated that Kelly was “feeling stronger.”
Kelly released a gospel album, Hiding Place, in 2018. The album was co-written with gospel pioneer Kirk Franklin and quickly climbed the charts, earning the singer a Grammy for Best Gospel Performance/Song.
