Pastor Greg Locke, the internet-famous leader of Global Vision Bible Church in Mount Juliet, Tennessee has scrubbed thousands of his Facebook videos with billion views to curtail the “collateral damage” they caused.

Locke disclosed to the congregation during a Sunday sermon video shared on Facebook how he instructed that his Facebook videos from when he started Facebook to 2021 be deleted.

“I said, I want you to Go to my Facebook page and everything from the day I started that page… Every chocolate, every FOX News interview, all of them. I said from the time I started the page to 2021 when we started making a transition… I said, delete every video I have got on Facebook,” Locke said to the congregation.

Locke went on to add that “We took[down] thousands… of videos. Took about three or four days” to scrub the videos which had “billions of views.” He further explain to the congregation that he deleted the videos “Not because what I said was wrong, but because when I became a man I put away childish things. And I’ve learned to say things better.”

Christian Post reports Locke’s decision to scrub his Facebook page videos came nearly four months after announcing that he got too involved with politics to the point where it was overshadowing his ministry.

The Tennesse pastor started sharing  Facebook content in 2015. He became famous in 2016 after he shared a video on Facebook condemning Target for its then-new policy of allowing men to enter women’s bathrooms and dressing rooms.

Pastor Locke who disclosed that he collectively had two billion Facebook views in 2016  and 2017 noted also that scrubbing his Facebook page video is “one of the hardest decisions I have ever made in my life.”
