Here is a message from Pastor Mike Todd of the Transformation Church, which is titled “I Will Not KingDUMB.” This message is the very first in the Kingdom Sermon Series. The promise for this series is that our thinking will change so that we can turn to God and see, seek, speak, and serve the kingdom.
In this message, Pastor Todd teaches that God’s people are destroyed for lack of knowledge, which translates in Hebrew to “light” (Hosea 4:6 KJV). When we walk without the light of God’s word, we walk in ignorance, also known as darkness in Hebrew. In this sermon, we are taught how to see the kingdom.
In the scripture, we see God talk about how he has begun a new thing; however, the new thing is going to have to start in your mind. This is because nothing changes unless your mind changes. When you have changed your thinking, everything else will change because the Bible says as a man thinketh in his heart, so he is.A lot of people are the way they are because of how they think. God is calling on the church to change its thinking. He is giving us an opportunity to live beyond what we see.
Speaking on the topic, Pastor Mike tells us that our greatest adversary in the kingdom is not the enemy but ignorance. The Kingdom is the only message that Jesus really preached about on earth; however, not all Christians know what it is. When Christians understand the authority and dominance that Jesus has given us in the kingdom, everything changes.
