Perry Noble Seeks Prayers as He and Wife Prepare for IVF Transfer
Second Chance Church senior pastor Perry Noble has turned to social media to ask for prayers as he and his wife, Shannon Repokis, prepare for another In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) transfer later this month.
Since their marriage in May 2021, the couple has faced significant challenges on their journey to parenthood, including two consecutive miscarriages.
In an emotional August 11 Instagram post, the pastor expressed his deep faith while acknowledging that the experience has tested their faith.
“We were told that our odds for having 2 miscarriages in a row was a 99% impossibility! And…we managed to ‘hit the 1%!’” he wrote. “To say that we have both wrestled with our faith a little would be an understatement!”
Notwithstanding the challenges, the couple remains steadfast and hopeful in their belief in God’s plan. “We both know that whatever happens – God is God and God is good!!” he stated.
The couple is seeking prayers for Shannon’s health, peace for both of them and the successful implantation of “little Boaz,” as they affectionately refer to their hoped-for child.
Pastor Noble’s candid post has garnered significant attention and support from his followers, many of whom have offered words of encouragement and prayers for the couple.
Pastor Perry Noble was previously married to Lucretia in April 2000 and welcomed a daughter, Charisse, in June 2007. He announced the end of his first marriage in November 2017 and remarried Shannon Repokis in May 2021.
