Police Calls For Joint Rescue Effort For Missing Texas Pastor

Police Calls For Joint Rescue Effort For Missing Texas Pastor: The Corpus Christi Police Department is conducting a countrywide hunt for Pastor Phillip Loveday,. The  47-year-old Texas pastor who went missing on Wednesday morning.

Loveday, who was last seen leaving for work at Kinder Morgan, was mistakenly left at home. His wife discovered the phone later that day, but his lack of connection with his congregation and family raised concerns.

Members of Faith Christian Center Church, where Loveday works as pastor, eagerly anticipated his appearance for Wednesday night worship but were concerned when he didn’t show up. They were desperate to find their beloved shepherd. The group gathered to pray for his safety and well-being rather than continuing with the planned Bible study because they were much missing his leading presence.

The family, including his congregation and his daughter Kayleigh Purnell, gathered to pray for Loveday’s safety and well-being.

The CCPD has assigned a detective to the case and is coordinating a statewide search with other community police departments, the Department of Public Safety, and county sheriffs.

Loveday is described as 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing about 200 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. The family is urging residents to inspect their surveillance cameras and be vigilant around their properties for any signs of Loveday. Also, the family shared information about Loveday’s vehicle, a white 2016 Ford F-250 work truck that has two Texas license plate numbers associated with the vehicle, HTN9773 and PPN1389, in circulation to aid in the search, according to Heavy.com.

Anyone with information that might be relevant to this case is requested to call the CCPD at either 361-886-2840 or 361-886-2600.
