Pope Francis’ Homily About Lent Today

Pope Francis Homily lent

Pope Francis who was reported to be a bit ill sometime last week has taken to twitter to continue educating us on Lent and give a homily as he always does. The Papal figure and the earthly Head of the Catholic Church says we should imagine the pain of the people who suffer without hope of help from people.

He tweeted:

“Lent is the perfect time to allow ourselves to contemplate the pain of those who suffer without anyone to help them. It is the time to turn compassion into concrete acts of solidarity and care”

Remember that lent is a period of reflection and decision making, a period in which you fast for the sake of God.
