Robert Madu Sermons 2021 House of Prayer

Pastor Madu begins the sermon by reminding us that the earth is not our home. A lot of Christians have gotten too comfortable here on earth and that is why we are continually being frustrated on earth. We have forgotten the scripture that says “Seek ye first the kingdom of God”. He tells us that it is detrimental when we make secondary that which ought to take priority.
There is a difference when we enter the presence of God, we are so comfortable. It is because we are created to forever be in God’s presence and heaven is our home. God is always trying to get us to understand that.
Speaking further on Jesus cursing the fig tree and the temple, he tells us that God did what he did because he hates deceit. A lot of us have leaves without fruit in it. How do you get fruit? It is very simple all you have to do is stay connected in Christ.
