Biography
Born and reared in Camden, New Jersey, Shanté Tribbett was born to a sixteen-year-old single mother. Her mother gave birth to her on May 1st, 1979.
Being born of a single mother and without a biological father prevented Shanté from experiencing the “pure fatherly love” that is necessary for the development of self-worth, security, and affirmation. As a result, she had a subdued demeanor as a result of this emptiness, which led to a formative upbringing marked by a dread of not fitting in.
The absence of a father created a void, and this void created a quiet personality in her, causing Shanté to experience a childhood that was rooted in the fear of not belonging. However, meeting Tye Tribbett helped to change her life.

Family LIfe
She is married to Pastor Tye Tribbett. At the age of sixteen, she met Tye Tribbett, and after a two-year courtship they married. They got married while Shante was still in high school. The pair got married on December 6th, 1997. God blessed their marriage with two daughters, Austyn and Lyncoln.
In 2009, Tye Tribbett admitted to having an affair with another member of his choir. This lead to Shante having an affair of her own with Christian rapper Da’ T.R.U.T.H., but both men and their wives later reconciled. The couple marked their 25th Marriage Anniversary in 2022 in a very quiet but special ceremony.
Ministry
In Orlando, Florida, Shanté and her husband established and formally opened “Live Church” in 2017. She runs seminars, round table talks, and life coaching sessions there for her “You GROW Girl” campaign. Also, she is the leader of Live Church’s women’s ministry
She also owns and operates The Trin, a home design and décor boutique.
Over the past twenty-plus years, Shante has organized a number of performances and seminars. Mrs. Tribbett continues to minister to people in a variety of means because she has a heart for service.
