Should Christians Participate In Elections?

Is it a must for Christians to vote?

Is it a must for Christians to vote? Many Christians all over the world have believed the idea that they are not to participate in politics.

Some of them do say that since Jesus Christ and his disciplines did not get involved in politics,, Christians shouldn’t.

They claim that politicians are corruptand that it and that it is not godly to associate with them. Most of them go as far as to disobey the rules and regulations given.

The word of God does not encourage us to disobey the rules of society. The truth is that most rules that they make now or will make inthe future the future might affect Christians.

There are some parts  of the country where preaching on the street hashas been banned. Some organisations do not allow their Christian works to do opening prayer.

If we keep shying away from participating in politics, politics, whether by voting or contesting for a position, position, that will do us no good.

The reason why most current rules are against Christians is because we allow non–Christians to be in power.

As a child of God,God, if you havea desire a desire to be a politician, politician, do shy away from it. God wants us wants us to use our positions, be they big or small, to advance the kingdom of God.

The word of God told us that when the righteous are in position, people rejoice. We, as the society of Christ, have allowed the unbeliever to step into high positions.

Reminder: This article is not to force anyone to get involved in contesting a political position if they are not comfortable. (Find something you are passionate about and go for it, but use it for the advancement of the kingdom of God.)

We Also Have Civic Rights To Fulfil

There are people who believe that as Christians we don’t have to obey anyone anymore. Jesus Christ was told about the taxes of his disciples, and he paid them.

He told us to give to Cesar what belongs to him and what God wants belongs to him. When new laws are made, let us not be the people that everyone sees as problem-makers.

There are some rules that have been made that are questionable, but there is nothing we can do. If the government orders us not to preach in public places, remember that we can preach through our personalities.

Let us pay our taxes and stay away from trouble because that is what God wants us to do. If there is a rule that people are not allowed to move around at a particular time, let us obey.

Sometimes disobeying can lead us to trouble or open us up to any available dangers. Voting during elections is really important in society, and we are to obey that.

If we sit back and wait for the unbelievers to fix the world, they can’t do anything. Most unbelievers in power are already doing more harm than good in society.

Imagine a world where our leader is a follower of Christ in truth and in spirit.

Go after your dreams.

  • Do you want to be a politician? Go for it and remember that it will be challenging, but you are not alone (God is with you).
  • Are you good with acting or singing? Remember to use your platform to advance the kingdom of God. Helping young people that are challenging and bring them back to Christ.
  • Is it your dream to be the CEO? Is it a bad thing to dream of a higher position but use it for good? Our heavenly father will help you if your intentions are good.
  • Do you dream of having a big business? Start small, but dream big, and hold on to God. Nothing good comes easy.
  • Is your goal to be a professor? Don’t shy away from the dreams that God has placed in your heart.

Remember, Christians are also part of the community, and we are the largest in the whole world. Let us go out in the world and make God proud and bring his lost children back to him.

Go out to cast your vote and pay your taxes.
