In this sermon, Pastor Chandler tells us that as believers one of the questions is; to cancel or not cancel? What would Jesus do in a certain situation? The family was used as an example where we have some toxic family members which we don’t find the nerve to cancel because of DNA. In the bible, Paul tells us that if we keep people that we are supposed to cancel, that we are not doing ourselves or them any good. We can cancel people but only temporarily, let us be ready to accept them back when they change. Philemon 1:17-19
Are you entertaining bad relationships at the expense of fulfilling God’s call on your life? Who have you thrown to the side when you should be praying, blessing, and looking for an opportunity to redeem? We should stop giving grace to people who do not deserve it.
