Teaching on giving, his wife Holly Furtick took to Instagram to write:
“Today I am challenging myself to be a giver — by choosing to focus on the people that I love instead of myself. But I am not giving out of manipulation or resentment, because no one wants a gift that comes from that. Rather I am going to give the very thing that I want. The very thing I feel that I am missing. I don’t know what that is for you.
Maybe it’s kindness, patience, attention, affection, or affirmation. That is what I am passing out today. What do you have to give?”
