This weekend @stevenfurtick took us to the life of John the Baptist to teach us that: THE CONCLUSION THAT YOU COME TO IS BASED ON THE BELIEF THAT YOU START WITH.
We could stop right there but here are a few highlights from my notes…
-What you believe determines how you receive.
-Are you framing by fear or faith?
-BEHAVIOR begins with BELIEF
-Don’t look for God’s judgement in places where He’s promised His grace.
-Even from his mother’s womb John recognized the presence of Jesus. He jumped (Lk 1:44)
-God’s presence does not always accommodate my preferences.
-Matthew 11:6 Jesus told John don’t stumble. Jump. Don’t trip. Trust.
