T.D. Jakes Foundation Donates $250000 Impact Grant to The Sola Foundation

In a remarkable display of generosity, the T.D. Jakes Foundation, an initiative led by the renowned Potters House Founder Bishop T.D Jakes donates a $250000 Impact Grant to The Sola Foundation.

The donation announced in a recent social media post seeks to support the mission of Sola Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing high-quality educational programming and career development opportunities in South Los Angeles.

Jakes noted however that the donation was made in partnership with Wells Fargo, an American multinational financial services company with a significant global presence.

Bishop Jakes also expressed his admiration for Sola’s work, stating, “The @TheSoLaFoundation is committed to empowering the next generation with access to job training and hands-on experience in the industries of the future. I was fascinated when I got a glimpse of the difference they are making around South Los Angeles — it reminded me that the future is still very bright.”

The T.D. Jakes Foundation is committed to making a lasting impact in underserved communities. In an earlier statement, Jakes expressed hope that the “impact grants the @TDJ_Foundation is putting into underserved communities will plant seeds of prosperity and upward mobility.”

He went on to highlight the power of action over words when it comes to enacting positive change. “You can’t just talk about impacting fundamental change for people starving for opportunity. When you have the means to truly make a lasting difference, you have to be about the work,” he stated.

T.D. Jakes’s Foundation will be donating impact grants to many community-based organizations in the coming weeks. They also will be revealing how “these funds will boost their critical missions to lift up those in need.”
