When you receive Christ, the holy spirit invades us and heals the scars in our soul so that we can function in a way that gives God Glory.
Pastor Tony lets us know that God does not break us to just leave us. He breaks us so that we can be made in the way he can take pleasure in us. Through the bible, we see God breaking Jacob, despite everything he did. God gave him an experience that changed not just his name but his life. Genesis 32:22-32
God will change any name that has caused us self-sufficiency so that we can experience God.
