In this sermon, Pastor Tony Evans talks about the celebration and praising God for what he has done. When Jesus concluded the Lord’s prayer, he expected a praise to the name of God. Jesus started the Lord’s prayer with the praise of God and concluded the prayer with the praise of God. This is what is called a “Doxology”. The point is that if we understand what we just prayed about, we ought to be motivated to give God praise. Everything we pray about, is all about God.
Don’t start your prayer making it about you but let your prayers be about God.
