Touré and Sarah Jakes Roberts, the assistant pastors of the Potters House Church in Texas, have kicked off the highly anticipated “Activate South Africa” event.

The event featuring the power couple alongside a special musical guest, Onehouse Music, is a 3-night “life-changing encounter,” elevating, empowering, and celebrating South African women while simultaneously addressing the importance of strong men by their side.

“Today we officially kick off an exciting month of elevating, celebrating, appreciating, and activating the women of the great nation of South Africa!” the couple shared on social media.

The event commences today in Cape Town and runs until August 3rd, with the last two days held in Johannesburg.

The couple, known for their passionate ministry work also added a sentiment of deep respect and admiration for South African women, acknowledging them as “the capstone of creation and God’s strategy for the family, community, the marketplace, and beyond!”

They continued, acknowledging the significance of women, stating, “You have always been God’s cherished and often times — secret weapon! We honor you, we love you, we lift you, and we declare that the absolute best of you, in you, for you, and through is yet to come!”
