We are the light.
We Are the Light: As children of God, we are expected to be like him in so many ways because we are representing him here on earth.
Jesus Christ said in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”.
In John 8:12, once again, Jesus spoke to the people and said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.”
For us to be the light, we must follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ and behave like him. Many people have claimed that it is impossible to be godly in our world currently, but we have the Holy Spirit.
It is important for us to depend on the spirit of God in order for us to be the light. As children of God, we are not allowed to behave like the rest of the world.
How are we to be the light if we are acting like everyone else? There are expectations in our lives, so we must do our best to live up to them.
When we walk with the Holy Spirit, he’ll guide us through everything so that we can please God.
Let your light shine.
God created us all greatly, and he has placed wonderful gifts and talents in our lives. Some of us already know what our purposes are here on earth, while others are still figuring them out.
It doesn’t matter when you discover yourself; just make sure that you allow your light to shine. We have to stop hiding the gifts and talents that God has given to us.
At the end of our lives, God will ask us questions about our lives, talents, and gifts. It is important for us to get ready to give account to what we did in our lives.
The way we live our lives is also important because we are God’s representatives. Others around us should be able to testify that we are indeed children of God.
Many people are afraid of admitting that they are Christians when they are in public. The world is mocking us, and they may not stop, but we should never be ashamed of our love for God.
We are being watched all the time by God and the world, so let’s do our best each day. Our heavenly father knows that we are not perfect, but he chose us because he loves us.
All we have to do every day is depend on God and do our best in everything that we do in life.
Be Excellent
When we hear the word excellent, we think about perfection, but that’s not true. We don’t have to be perfect in order to be excellent at what we do.
In dictionaries and on the on the internet, being excellent is defined as close to perfection.
Excellence means greatness—the very best. Achieving excellence is never easy to do.
Excellence, by its simple definition, means the act of doing your best in everything that you do.
The Bible encourages us to be excellent because it’ll make us stand out from the crowd.
2 Corinthians 8:7
Let’s strive for excellence in all we do. “But as you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, and in all eagerness and in the love from us that is in you—make sure that you excel in this act of kindness too.”
When people come around us, they have to know that we are special. Remember that we are not meant to do it on our own because we have God on our side.
Being excellent requires a lot of discipline and commitment, so start with little things like
- cleaning your house,
- being organized
- being truthful and honest.
- Keep good company.
- Learn new things.
- stay positive
- Grit: Work hard, endure, and never quit.
Matthew 5:16
“Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven”.
