5 Ways On How God Speaks To Us

As Christians, we often want to know if God is speaking to us. God really speaks to us, and he wants us to pay attention all the time.

Even in good and bad times, he’s always talking to us. Sometimes because of a lot of things that are going on in our lives we forget to listen to God. We have to develop a close relationship with God so that we can hear from him clearly.

Having a close relationship with God can help us know when he’s speaking to us.

God can speak to us in different ways. It is important to be aware of these ways and then to ask ourselves if we are truly listening to Him.

5 Ways God Speaks to Us

  1. God can use circumstances to communicate. When we are going through hard times, we have to pay attention to know what God is trying to say to us. The enemy wants us to complain about what’s going on in our lives so that we can’t hear from God. God said in the Bible that in all situations, we should give thanks. God allows us to go through certain situations because he wants us to grow and be better. When you see yourself in trouble, ask, What is God saying to me?
  2. God can communicate with us through wise people. When we have godly mentors in our lives, God can speak through them to give us advice. It is really important that we have godly mentors in our lives. They can be preachers who we physically see and interact with online, such as on Facebook or YouTube. We must confirm that their speech is grounded in the words of God.
  3. God Can Communicate Through Our Thoughts: According to Amos 4:13, God reveals His ways to us through our thoughts. We have to pay attention to our thoughts because they can speak to us through them. Also, the devil has the ability to implant thoughts in our minds. However, not every thought that enters our minds is from the Lord, so we must be careful.
  4. God can communicate. Through dreams and visions: God can speak to us through our dreams and visions. In the lives of Joseph, Solomon, Jacob, Peter, John, and Paul, God has spoken to them through dreams and visions.
  5. God can speak through the Bible. God can speak to us through the Bible; we have to learn to read the Bible. We have to make time to read our Bible because the enemy wants us to be so busy that we forget to read it.

Conclusion: We have to know that God is always speaking to us, and we have to learn how to pay attention to him. We should not allow the enemy to distract us with every bad thing going on in our lives.
