Sarah tells us that self-preservation at one stage of life is different from self-preservation at another stage of life. It is different when one is in the midst of a struggle and when he is in a place of peace. What determines whether or not it is self-preservation is the mission. She tells us that the methods that we use for self-preservation continue to change and fluctuate because what is self-preservation in one moment could become destructive in another moment.
Self-preservation might have protected you for a long time, but that “safety” will not satiate you. If you stay in this mode of self-preservation, you might very well lose out on my destiny. Come out of your cocoon and chase after your calling! You may not see it in yourself, and it may not make sense to you, but be obedient. If you exercise courage and step towards God, He will unlock restoration for generations past, present, and future!
